Utica's North American Trust Company was founded as a small consulting firm by Jake Silver and Lawrence Thomas in 1984. One clever financing major (Jake) and one astute law school graduate (Lawrence) joined forces to offer their clients the best of the best when it came to legal financing.
When real estate prices sky-rocketed in the late 1980's, this little consulting firm entered a whole new arena - that of real estate asset management.
One success led to another, and the company continued to expand. The daring duo were soon joined by Brian Sherwin, Sandra Moser, and Allen Grey - all accomplished financial consultants in their own right.
And so, here we are 20 years later, vastly experienced and successful in helping our clients achieve their financial aspirations, but still small enough to offer personal and friendly service.
